Beeba’s Book Nook began in the spring of 2005 kind of by accident. In the fall 2004, my children’s school PTA was looking for new ways to raise some extra funds. So, I came up with the idea & organized a used book sale that was held during American Education Week. It was very successful & got such nice feedback that I decided to start my own little business of it. I have a huge supply of gently used children’s books that I bring to different locations & events. I sell each book still for only $1 each (plus sales tax). I usually bring 6 carts full of great books to each sale (I think at least 2,000 or more books). I’ve sold books at local schools, flea markets, fairs, children’s events and book festivals. If I can sell a large enough quantity of books at your school, I’m willing give the school (or non-profit organization) a percentage of the sales back. I can also deliver bulk orders of books and mail books with a reasonable added charge for the shipping. It’s difficult for me to list all the books that I have at each moment, since my inventory is constantly turning over & changing. But, I’m always on the look out for books so, if I don’t currently have a particular book at that moment, chances are, I’ve probably had it before and/or may get it one day (unless it’s either a pretty new book or an old rare book). It’s also impossible for me to bring all the books that I have to each event, so if you don’t see it, I still might have it off-site. I usually have many copies of the popular award winning children’s chapter book titles if a teacher or school needs multiple copies of certain books for their classrooms. I hope you’ll agree that $1 per book is a bargain price for the great books that I sell. Plus, reusing and recycling book is great for the environment. And of course, Books & Reading are undeniably beneficial for all children (and adults)! Thank you very much for your interest & support.
